This Month's Tip:
Media and Information Packaging

When information packaging needs to hold more than just paper, a regular old pocket folder may not do the job. Multi-dimensional information and media packaging can be designed to hold anything from perfect-bound or saddle stitched books to product samples, VHS and audio cassettes, CDs and DVDs.

There are many factors that must be considered when planning a media package. Before a design is finalized, consider the end use of the product, and ask yourself a few questions about it: Will more information be added to it over time? Will it hold only paper, CD-ROM media or product samples - or a mix of all three?

Media packaging can be designed for complete assembly at Diecrafters, or for assembly by end users. This second option defers assembly costs to the field, while also allowing the products to be shipped flat for an additional cost savings.
